Aileron Bell Crank
To cut the slots in the aileron bell crank arms, I used an abrasive cutoff wheel mounted on a bench grinder. It cut a slot that was a perfect width for the .125 cable tabs. After drawing the bell crank template in Auto Cadd, I glued it to a piece of MDF and drilled holes to accurately locate everything. Don't pay any attention to my scribblings, as they are not right. I used a piece of .190 to prop up the cable tab.

I used a couple of .125 pieces of left over capstrip material to center the 1/4" angle brace. Notice the tube where the pushrod will mount is too long. This is to make welding easier and will be sanded off after welding. Bell crank tacked and ready for final welding.
